Burk Erectors places priority on safety and security throughout the process of metal building erection. To ensure optimal safety results, Burk Erectors employs the expertise of Dickinson & Associates, Inc., a local occupational safety consultant agency.

Dickinson & Associates, established in Springfield, Missouri in 1993, has over 35 years of experience in occupational safety, including experience as a senior level compliance officer with the United States Department of Labor – Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and as a manager of safety services for a Fortune 500 defense contractor.
Among the services that Dickinson & Associates provides for Burk Erectors are the following:

• on-site inspections, complete with written reports and recommendations
• job safety analysis, including hazard communication and electrical safety
• accident investigation
• forklift certification
• the provision of personal protection equipment for employees
• first aid and CPR training
• implementing fire protection/prevention standards

In addition to the services provided by Dickinson & Associates, Burk Erectors enforces a strict drug policy for all of its employees. Random drug tests are performed on all employees six to eight times a year to insure that every individual performs his/her job to optimal safety and regulation standards.
